Last week, I blogged about Kevyn Aucoin and that I was testing its skin enhancer product. Today, I'm ready to to blog about my full review

Why I love Kevyn Aucoin Skin Enhancer:
  • I love the packaging! It's small, shiny and maroon container makes you wonder what's really the product inside. It has that excited feeling as you open it
  • The product is like a paste and doesn't spill around the container as you put it inside your kikay kit. Easy to travel with it
  • You only need a small amount to cover your face and neck
  • The coverage of Kevyn Aucoin is really, really GOOD! Does not feel heavy after application but the effect is superb!
  • Make up last for the whole day. After applying it 8 in the morning, skin will still look fresh at 3PM even without retouch. I have an oily skin, so this is really a PLUS
There are a couple of challenges using Kevyn Aucoin based on my 2 weeks experience of using it:
  • Application can be a challenge if you are a newbie. Since the product is so thick, you really need a good primer or moisturizer to help spread the product on your face. Using it directly on face is not a good idea since it will create blotches
  • Not so liking the scent. It has a rubbery smell to it. But you normally get use to it after 5 minutes any way
  • Quite difficult to remove it at night time. You really need a good makeup remover before washing your face.
  • Product is a bit pricey at Php2,300.00 (18g)
Will I continue using Kevyn Aucoin Skin Enhancer? OF COURSE! But not on a daily basis. Probably during events and night outs during weekends.
