Ugu Bigyan Garden Review

Little did I know that this secret garden exists in Tiaong, Quezon. Well, thanks to my good friend, Louise, who arranged a trip last weekend for us to experience the ambiance and good food Ugu Bigyan offers. We left Manila 9:00 AM and arrived around 12 noon.
What to expect? I'll show you everything through photos:

Ugu Bigyan Garden also offers pottery done by no other than, AUGUSTO L. BIGYAN ('UGU"),
proprietor, restaurateur, pottery artist, interior/exterior designer and landscape artist. Too bad we were not able to attend the pottery making that afternoon since we opted to eat first (out of hunger from the trip).
On Food
For a minimum of 5 heads, they will entertain your reservation for lunch. Here's what they offer:
The food is fresh and just superb! I didn't try their Ugu Bigyan's Kulawo (Banana Heart) which is their specialty dish. It's just too hardcore veggie for me. But my friends super love it!

Their service is also something I would like to commend. Thanks for taking care of us that afternoon. I love the BJ! As in buko juice.

They also sell accessories and pottery which is just next to where you dine in. Their accessories can be limited to hers; ranging from earring, necklace, rings and everything you can imagine. The pottery they offer can however be on the expensive side. I almost buy a table decor piece but later decided not to.

Ugu Bigyan Garden is a great place to go and unwind. We all need some stress-relieving activities in our lives nowadays. And Ugu Bigyan Garden just happen to fall under that category.
From Manila, head towards the end of South Express Way and take the second to the last exit going to Batangas. Take the road going to bicol heading towards Tiaong, Quezon. This is about 90-120 minutes drive. After San Pablo, Laguna, you will arrive in Tiaong, Quezon. Drive past the Tiaong public market and watch for the Tiaong Elementary School. Five minutes from the school, watch for a sign pointing to Lusacan National high school, to your left. Turn left on the road near the sign. Follow the road and turn left on Alvarez Village. The house is the red clay house to your left.
