The Day I Met Jericho

I'm not blogging about my lovelife, at least not yet! I was referring to a product I met today along the busy pave way of SM Mall of Asia. His name is Jericho. Or should I say, the product's name is Jericho. The brand's name was derived from the City of Jericho, near the Jordan River, and north of the Dead Sea. Using Dead Sea salts, minerals and black mud, Paloma Dead Sea Ltd. (makers of Jericho Beauty) developed a line focused on skin care, cosmetic and therapeutic products.

The shop of Jericho Health and Beauty From The Dead Sea is only a kiosk near the cinema area. We hardly noticed it, actually, if not for their friendly staff who were eagerly willing to conduct a product demo.

Jericho Lightening Cream on Fierce Blogs
I yet to try one of their product, Jericho Lightening Cream. The promise of the product is to "corrects pigmentation disorders, as well as lightens, smoothes and firms the skin. It also fades skin discolorations ,such as age spots, freckles or hyper pigmentation that may occur from sun exposure".

Watch out for the follow up blog if the cream is really worthy to be called Fierce Find!

Fierce Blogs is currently being renovated and updated. Along with this project is to update the blog banner. The Fierce Blogs Merman has been up for 3 years already and it's time for a change. Thanks so much to Charles Maglunsod for the merman design here.

Fierce Blogs Photoshoot
I have not chosen the right picture which will served as the inspiration for the blog banner. It's not going to be easy, I guess.

What I wore: Zara Men for my sweatshirt, Springfield for my grass pants and Lacoste for my red polo shirt.

Watch out for Fierce Blogs' new banner!

Gary V: On Higher Ground Concert Review

April 13, Friday, Greenhills - The audience at Music Museum were treated to sumptuous musical extravagance topped with visual elicits. It was a night to remember! Not even the heavy traffic of Friday the 13th or the major power failure in Greenhills can hinder Gary V from moving his audience to higher grounds!

Gary V: On Higher Ground Concert Review
After 29 years of well-celebrated music and highly-acclaimed concert performances, Gary Valenciano is not showing any signs of slowing it down. He is still the unbeatable force in the male department of Philippine music. To date, I have not seen any artists so complete and as humble as the 47-year old musical hero. By far, Gary V's "On Higher Ground" series is the best concert I've seen in our country. It was a marriage of first-class music and visual spectacle that made his concert memorable. Using CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) Technology, the plain, layered white backdrop of the concert stage transforms from natural sceneries to colorful electronic feel. I was in awe in most segments of the show! One could only imagine the technical challenges of syncing music to imagery and to lights. Kudos to Paolo Valenciano for executing it with gusto and feel.

Gary V: On Higher Ground Concert Review
The highlights of the show (for me) is the spot where Gary V. sang "Over the Rainbow". It was so surreal seeing Mr. Pure Energy sang along with 4 more of himself using musical and visual technology. Another favorite moment is hearing the UNICEF Philippines ambassador croon the teleserye theme songs like: “Tayong Dalawa,” “Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo,” “Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin, “ and “Sana Maulit Muli”.

Fierce Blogs highly recommends the concert series of Gary V: On Higher Ground to everyone. “Gary V: On Higher Ground” is directed by Gary and son Paolo Valenciano with Musical Direction by Mon Faustino. Tickets are priced at Php 3,500.00, 2,500.00, 1,500.00, 1,000.00, and 500.00. For tickets contact Ticketworld (891-9999), Music Museum (721-6726; 721-0635), and Manila Genesis (706-2170 to 71; 0908-8871397 ) or visit www.garyv.com and follow @GaryValenciano1, @manila_genesis, and @GaryVConcerts on Twitter and Like Gary Valenciano Official, Manila Genesis, and On Higher Ground on Facebook.

Eliminate the Fog with Optifog - By Essilor

Share
I haven't blogged in a while from the time I travelled to Cebu last week. Blame it to my busy corporate life topped by a fever and flu I got this week. By the way; to those who tweeted @Fierce_Blogs, I really appreciate all your get-well-comments. Sorry if I could not reply to all your DMs and messages, I just lost track already.

Speaking of my recent trip to Cebu, I stumbled upon this product while I was walking along the busy mall of Ayala Center Cebu last week. This product is really close to my heart because I really believe in the product and I really use one. I'm talking about Essilor Lens. If you'll remember, I blogged about the lens I am using almost 2 years ago. You can find the link here.

This time around, Essilor Philippines brings us a new innovation in ophthalmic lenses. True to their slogan, "Seeing the World Better", Essilor releases a new product called, Optifog. I was actually very curious when I saw their show center in Cebu. I have to drop by and find out, I told myself.

How does Optifog works?

The new Optifog lens uses a special kind of technology designed by Essilor Philippines. Along with the lens comes a special dropper that activates the anti-fog feature of the lens. The Optifog lens and dropper should go hand in hand - it's a combo! The dropper will not work on ordinary lens that is not developed by the Optifog technology.

Here's a visual explanation of how it works.

It is actually easy to use Optifog. Here's a demo conducted by the Opto.

Optifog Philippines - Activate using the dropper
Optifog Philippines - Gently wipe using a microfiber cloth (provided in the kit)

The anti-fog coating can last up to a week. Truly lasting effect, I could say.

Optifog lens is already available in the market. You may ask your optical shop about this breakthrough in ophthalmic lens. Remember, always demand for the authentication card.

When it comes to eye comfort, I only trust Essilor! Another Fierce Find revealed on Fierce Blogs!
